What We Do
Land Mobile Radio (LMR):
Stone Mountain developed the first waterproof, rugged speaker microphones for public safety and heavy industrial LMR applications. The Sword and Juno set a new standard for radio products – Often copied but never equaled. We continue that legacy with our Phoenix LMR Series wired and BluSkye & TruBlu Bluetooth speaker microphones and accessories.
Push To Talk over Cellular (PTToC):
The rapid expansion of cellular data coverage opened a new frontier for instant communications. In 2012, Stone Mountain, in conjunction with Sprint Nextel, created the first truly rugged PTToC system. This system was more than just a new platform, it was the first real alternative to traditional mobile and portable radios.
While LMR systems are limited to only where repeaters can reach, PTToC enables instantaneous global communication using only preexisting cellular infrastructure at a fraction of the cost. We offer a comprehensive line of wired (Elite, Epic & UVox Pro) and Bluetooth (BluSkye & TruBlu) speaker microphones and accessories to meet the most demanding applications.
